Availability

The review checks are implemented for a private engagement. The client’s records and use of the workflow are not public. These checks validate recorded prerequisites. They do not establish the correctness of the underlying record or independently verify that a human review occurred.

The problem

Updating a working record requires a clear account of what was reviewed and a recoverable starting point. A completed flag or an old backup cannot supply that evidence on its own.

The contribution

The contribution included structured decision records and preflight checks for a private client workflow, with separate checks for review approval, backup consistency, and draft readiness.

Decisions that shaped the work

  1. Record approval for a sensitive mapping review with a reviewer and review date; a completed flag is not enough.

  2. Compare the backup with the current tracker before treating it as a recoverable starting point.

What was implemented

  1. A decision schema checks for an explicit approval, reviewer and valid review date.

  2. Preflight checks compare backup contents and inspect required draft-verification markers before reporting readiness.
