JodyInk uses AI where interpretation, retrieval, transcription, or synthesis benefits from model behavior. Source selection, deterministic controls, failure handling, and review remain product decisions. A model is not added to work that needs a fixed, replayable result.
In one task-specific research comparison, a technically functioning candidate was rejected after it fabricated source references and missed required structure. JodyInk retained the fixtures, acceptance criteria, and validator so another candidate can be tested against the same job.
